About Barcode Generator
The Barcode Generator is a fast, client-side developer utility designed to generate standard 1D linear barcodes. All calculations occur inside your browser using JavaScript, ensuring maximum privacy and instant rendering.
Supported Barcode Formats:
- CODE128: The most widely used high-density barcode format supporting uppercase/lowercase letters, numbers, and control characters.
- CODE39: Older variable-length alphanumeric barcode widely used in automotive, defense, and industrial logistics.
- EAN-13 & EAN-8: International Article Numbers used worldwide for product packaging in retail stores.
- UPC-A: Universal Product Code used mainly in the United States and Canada for point-of-sale retail items.
- ITF-14: Interleaved 2 of 5 barcode commonly used on shipping cartons and outer packaging boxes.
How to generate and download:
- Enter your text or digits into the Data to Encode input box.
- Select the preferred barcode symbology (e.g. CODE128 or EAN-13).
- Choose custom parameters such as Bar Width and Bar Height.
- Click Generate Barcode to render the barcode.
- Download your barcode as a lossless PNG image (ideal for web/presentations) or a vector SVG image (ideal for print layouts, resizing without quality loss).
